From London and the South....
Continue north on the A1, following signs for Hatfield. Take junction 2 for Welham Green and loop over the motorway. Follow the A1000 towards Welham Green. At the small roundabout, Welham Green is sign-posted to the right but continue straight on. Go past the Texaco garage on the left, towards the BBC aerials (clearly visible). We are 200 metres beyond the garage on the left.
From the M25 and.the West (Heathrow, Watford)
Take junction 23 (South Mimms) onto the A1. Continue north on the A1, following signs for Hatfield. Take junction 2 for Welham Green, then follow the directions above.
From the M25 and the East (Dartford Tunnel)
Take junction 24 towards Potters Bar. Go through Potters Bar High Street and take the A1000 left towards Hatfield. When you see the sign for Brookmans Park we are 200 metres further on, to the right, just after the BBC transmitter aerils.
From the North.....
Continue south on the A1 towards Hatfield. Ignore the Hatfield turn off and proceed under the tunnel. Take an immediate left after the tunnel, junction 3, towards Welham Green. Proceed straight on (with university and hotel on your left) to the top of the hill.
